PADI Advanced Open Water Certification

TAKE YOUR DIVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL!

Whether you’ve just completed your open water certification or its been 100 dives since, PADI’s advanced open water certification class provides a fun and exciting next step in your diving education. Unlike the rigidly structured open water program, the advanced certification class allows you to explore your interests or work on aspects of diving you might have trouble with. Additionally, this experience based program keeps you out of the classroom and underwater where you should be.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age - 12 years old
• Open Water Certification

Students to Provide:

• PADI Advanced Open Water Book
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diving Video or DVD
• Log book
• Underwater slate
• Mask, snorkel, fins, dive boots and gloves
• Buoyancy compensating device
• Gear bag
• Adequate exposure protection (wetsuit or drysuit)
• Regulator with alternate second stage pressure and depth gauge
• Timing Device

Like many of PADI's courses, the Advanced Open Water Certification program, offers many options to make the experience as fun as possible. The course consists of five certification dives. Of the five dives, students can choose three dives specializing in specific skills. The other two are determined by PADI as navigation and deep. *Night diving is highly recommended
