PADI Divemaster Certification
GET YOUR PROFESSIONAL DIVE ON!
Perhaps the usual nine to five gig just isn’t for you. If that is the case, maybe becoming a PADI Divemaster is the next step in your career. As a divemaster you have the opportunity to work hand in hand with our knowledgable and passionate staff. Through the internship portion of your training you truly hone your diving skills and get priceless hands on diving experience.

Located on beautiful Catalina Island, Catalina Scuba Luv and its full-retail and repair center allows candidates the opportunity to understand aspects of the dive industry that extend outside of water. In addition, candidates have the opportunity to work on the King Neptune dive boat with our seasoned captains and diving staff. Also, the diving conditions in California help to prepare candidates to be ready for anything.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age - 18 years old
- Advance Open Water Certification
- Rescue Diver Certification
- Medical Clearance
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- A minimum of 20 logged dives

- PADI Divemaster Manual
- PADI Divemaster Video or DVD
- Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving
- Diving Knowledge Workbook
- The Wheel and Instruction Book
- PADI RDP Dive Table and Instruction Book
- ERDP
- PADI Open Water Manual
- PADI Advanced Open Water Manual
- PADI Rescue Manual
- Logbook

Equipment Requirements:
- Mask, snorkel, fins, dive boots and gloves
- BCD
- Adequate exposure protection (wetsuit or drysuit)
- Regulator
- Timing Device and/or Dive Computer
- Knife
- Compass
- Light
- Slate
- Tank Banger or other audible u/w noise maker
- Pocket Mask
