PADI Rescue Diver Certification
BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING!
It may sound cliche, but a failure to plan is truly a plan to fail. PADI’s Rescue Diver Certification course provides divers with the necessary knowledge and preparation to prevent problems as well as manage diving emergencies. During the classroom and open water sessions of this course, divers review self-rescue, diver stress, dive first aid, emergency management and equipment, swimming and non-swimming assists, panicked diver response, underwater problems and much more.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age - 12 years old
- Advance Open Water Certification
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Students Provide:
- PADI Rescue Diver Manual
- PADI Rescue Diver Video or DVD
- Diving Accident Management Work Slate
- Log book
- Mask, snorkel, fins, dive boots and gloves
- Buoyancy compensating device
- Adequate exposure protection (wetsuit or drysuit)
- Regulator with alternative second stage pressure and depth gauge
- Timing Device
